Job description
Demonstration of Holy Ghost and Power Ministry is a Non-denominational Charismatic Pentecostal Church that has the vision of reaching out to the community with the love of Christ.
We spur believers to use the gifts and talents that God has placed in them through the power of the Holy Spirit to cater for the needs of others in the Church and in the community. We believe that everyone is equal in Christ regardless of gender, age, nationality or ethnicity.
We are committed to having members from different cultures, contexts and nationalities working together in love and learning from each other in Christ. We are providing work placement opportunities. A position has arisen for the position of Minister of Religion to assist Senior Pastor/Minister in running the Church.
The successful candidate should have excellent administrative skills and support the members of the church including follow up, evangelism, marketing, organising auditorium for services, spreading Church leaflets, inviting people to Church, preaching the gospel, preparing sermons and conducting worship services.
The successful candidate will also be expected to assist in charity work, helping the poor and needy with food provisions and assist in the soup kitchen. The successful candidate is expected to assist the Pastor and Church in the following areas: Church Administration Actively involved in evangelism and open air outreaches Develop spiritual and marketing materials Welcome and follow up newcomers to Church Sending out messages for Church Programs (including texts, e-mails and through social media) Lead Prayer sessions (including online and telephone prayers).
Undertake Bible studies and Sunday school as necessary Provide welfare support to the members of the church as delegated by Pastor/Church Administer ordinances such as Holy Communion, child dedication and water baptism Essential Successful candidate should have at least 7 years experience ministering the Word in a Pentecostal Charismatic Church Having a Masters in Business Administration is desirable.
The successful candidate should be Born Again haven received training in Doctrines of Christ and comfortable with mainstream Charismatic Pentecostal Doctrines such as the Trinity, fruits of the Spirit, Salvation by Grace based on Christ’s work on the Cross, Word of Faith, laying of hands, gifts of the Spirit, speaking in tongues, healing, prosperity, signs and wonders.
The successful candidate should be comfortable with affiliation with mainstream Charismatic bodies such as the World Healing Fellowship. Apply by sending CV and statement of interest to holyghostchapeluk@yahoo.com.
